The online visa application and online appointment for visa application submission will come into use from 14 April, 2019. There will be a transitional period of one month (from 14 April to 11 May), during which the applicant can still submit the old version application form without making an appointment for submission. After the transitional period (from 12 May on), the applicant has to complete the visa application form online and make an appointment for submission.

Applicants holding Diplomatic, Service, and Special passports, or applying for Diplomatic, Service and Courtesy Visas, can be exempted from the appointment. Please fill in the application form online and print it out, then come to the Chinese Embassy in Bahrain for submission.
