Manama, Bahrain, July 23-- H.E.Shaikh Mohammed Bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister of Bahrain met with Ambassador H.E. Mr. Qi Zhenhong at Gudaibiya Palace.

Shaikh Mohammed delighted recalled the experiences of visiting China, deeply impressed by the great achievements of China's development in the past 30 years and the friendly diligent Chinese people. He said, "After His Majesty King successfully visited China in Sep.2013, I'm really happy for the new progresses which our two countries have gained in all field cooperation. Now, the 'Dragon City' will be open, which is a new achievement of the bilateral cooperation."

Ambassador Qi highly appreciated Shaikh Mohammed and the Bahrain government's concern and effort to Sino-Bahraini relations, and pointed out, Chinese government has raised the 'One Belt & One Road' initiative, which will bring an historic opportunity to strengthen the relations. He would like to work with Bahraini side to improve the cooperation to a new stage.

They also exchanged the views of bilateral, regional and international issues both concerned.
