To further facilitate cross-border exchanges between China and foreign countries, the Chinese government has decided to extend the unilateral visa-free policy for 45 countries, including Bahrain (list attached) until 24:00 on December 31, 2026.

During the validity period of this policy, holders of ordinary passports from the countries concerned may enter China without a visa for purposes of business, tourism, visiting relatives and friends, transit, or exchanges, for a stay of no more than 30 days.

Travelers who do not meet the visa-free entry conditions still need to apply for visas before entering China.

Bahrain, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, Ireland, Hungary, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, Australia, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, Greece, Cyprus, Slovenia, Slovakia, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Monaco, Liechtenstein, Andorra, the Republic of Korea, Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Malta, Estonia, Latvia, Japan, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Uruguay, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Kuwait.
