On September 30, H.E. Ambassador Ni Ruchi paid a farewell visit to H.E. Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Bahraini Foreign Minister.

Ambassador Ni reviewed the achievements of China-Bahrain cooperation in recent years in the political, economic, cultural and other fields, and expressed appreciation to H.E. Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani for the great importance he attached to the development of China-Bahrain relations. Ambassador Ni said that China stands ready to work with Bahrain to continue implementing the important common understandings reached by the two heads of state, steadily advance mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields, maintain close communication and coordination on regional and international affairs, and promote greater development of the China-Bahrain Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

H.E. Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani thanked Ambassador Ni for his tremendous contribution to advancing cooperation between Bahrain and China in various fields during his tenure. He said that Bahrain attaches great importance to developing relations with China and firmly adheres to the one-China principle. Bahrain stands ready to further deepen exchanges and cooperation with China in various fields, so as to better benefit the two countries and their peoples.
